Positive thinking is a mental attitude …

Positive and negative thinking are both contagious. All of us affect, in one way or another, the people we meet. How you think reflects your outlook on life, your attitude toward yourself and others, and whether you're optimistic or pessimistic. All of our feelings, beliefs and knowledge are based on our internal thoughts. We are in control, we have the power to CHOOSE, whether it be positive or negative.

As we have previously learned, our thought patterns are habits, built from our past, the feedback of parents, friends, society and self, that form our self-image and our world-image. These are maintained by the inner conversations we constantly have with ourselves, both consciously and subconsciously. I have to change my inner conversations into positive thoughts to produce positive results.

Therefore, I made a commitment to control and keep my mind focused on positive thoughts, be optimistic, be honest and personally aware of who I am and others. See learning and change as opportunities, weakness as "improvable". To change and improve each day to bear the fruits of Positive Thinking.

I am no longer trapped in this prison cell.

Thank you for giving me a “Get out of Jail free” card…
