Organize Your Time - Introduction
By now you have learned how to organize your mind & space and you have learned how to organize your money. What about your time? Do you ever wonder where your time is going? Do you sometimes feel like you are too busy to get anything done? What Influences how you spend your time?
The Organize Your Time DVD gives you the insight on how to understand time and learn an approach to managing your time so that you can effectively accomplish your goals and fulfill your commitments.
Think about what elements are in your life. What do you VALUE? Do you have a family, kids, a stressful job, do you commute? These are all INFLUENCES in how we manage our time. It is important to zero in on what distracts you from managing your time so that you can begin to take control.
- "I'm too busy to plan" - This is simply not true, after all we all find time to do what we really, really, really want to do. What we're really saying is "Planning takes too long and I have more important things to do."
- "I can never stick to my plan because things always come up" - Let's turn this around then, did you know you can plan for the unexpected? Build in time for "unexpected work" or "free time."
- "I have too many interruptions during the day!" - If you find yourself being interrupted a lot, you probably haven't built in enough time to communicate with others. Try building in time upfront to spend with family, kids, co-workers, team members, etc. to reduce the number of interruptions throughout your day.
so my fellow CEO's, how's your roadmap coming along?
Has Everyone Installed In & Out??
By now you should be getting ready to finish up the Organize Your time dvd, but before I go there has everyone installed the In & Out software successfully? If not, please call me at the office (510) 741-2037. You can also email me at esmith@stellarenterprise.com with any questions regarding the software and I'll be happy to assist you.

Organize Your Money
Before I watched the "Organize Your Money" DVD, I analyzed the answers I gave to the "What Do You Think" questions ; completed the review questions; and I opened additional bank accounts to now have four (4) as instructed. However, I have not been able to install the "In & Out" software. I was not aware of a training session and I need help!
I have Excel 2007 already installed but the "In & Out" installation is not happening for me - what should I do?

ORGANIZE YOUR MONEY
I want to take this time to thank Mr.Parker and his wonderful team for all their hard work and support. Thank you Mr. Fulton for encouraging me to continue to paint.
I really enjoyed the DVD on Organizing your Money and the In & Out Cash Flow Club session. These tools helped me to start again on my Master Spread Sheet. All this time In & Out Cash Flow has been on my computer, and all it took was going over your DVD and also following the instructions of Mrs. Smith to open the file. I have update my accounts, even though, I am still working on which credit cards to put on Pay With Purpose. However, I will complete my task on Friday. I like your definition of a systematic approach, and that discipline is the key.
Thank you,
PamHceo4life
Organize your MONEY
When I first got the In & Out Software I set up 4 bank accounts, registered my software, made my a Master spread sheet and never looked at it again. I need to follow through more often. I have now set up a basket for mail and bills and this Friday I will pay bills and check my mail.
In know if I procrastinate the mail will pile up and I will become very frustrated and overwhelmed.
I am so glad I went to the In & Out Cash Management Club this Monday. I am back on track due to Mr. Parker and his team of professionals. I thank you all for taking the time to help us.

Making Adversity a University
As the CEO's of our lives we have many relationships: work, customers and family members. Learning to work with each other can at times bring adversity but we must remember to make it a University and explore how to better work with each and every person when ever possible.
Organizing our lives reduces friction and adversity because there is a standard set of how things should be done and it speaks rather than our words. Discipline and the lifeskills we are taught are necessary attributes that will also reduce adversity.
I am really glad I read his quote today and I feel that I can make adversity a university in my life.
Can you see how the tools you are learning will reducing adversity in your lives?
Can you see how with tools you can make adversity a university of learning and experience?

Organize your Finances
I am still working of SAFET projects around the home and at work. It is amazing what a little effort each day will do toward accomplishing a goal you have. I am 33 years old and have tried for years to get organized and never realized how simple it really is given the right tools and keeping a positive mindset. I just realized this past week that there is nothing you can't accomplish if you have the desire and set your mind to it. It just a frame of mind.

Getting started, Finally
Personal Awareness has really illuminated the dark aspects of my being. It has helped me to understand ,Why I am the way I am, What I value in life, the biases I have, and the list goes on.
What can I do to strengthen my weaknesses? What are my strengths that can work for me in developing new relationships, maintaining current relationships with my family, friends, co-workers, employers, employees. The CD & the post test have been helpful. Last, but not least
Mr Parker and Mr Fulton have done outstanding in their dialogues. Thank you all for forbearing with me. Until the next blogging, good nite to everyone. Maggie T.

Do You Feel Like There Are Bricks In Your Purse?
I was reading Katrina's post and I know our purses are a touchy subject but truthfully I have started embracing the concept of an organized purse and I now really have to keep it neat or it bugs me.
I like my wallet organized, and all the compartments free from excess. Keep only what you will use for that day. There is a great Asian Trading Store Called Panda Trading company that sells all types of little silk organizers so that you can have your makeup, pens, credit cards all organized.
They are on Alfred Nobel next to our office. They look like a warehouse but they are open for retail too. There stuff is very inexpensive: 3-10 dollars.
Anyway, don't be afraid to leave some stuff at home. The purse is temporary storage of what you need.
I do pack a book bag, lunch bag, gym bag and tote for other things I may use and keep them in the trunk... not in my purse.
Men- your briefcase counts... ha ha ha

Organize Your Mind & Space
My purse… well, let’s just say that I’ve found the reason why my shoulder hurt sometime. I’m going to take the drawers and cabinets, one room at a time and make sure I don’t mind anyone coming over and opening them. After doing this…the key will be to keep it that way.
It seems that having DISCIPLINE also plays a role in organizing my mind and space. If I have the 3C’s (commitment, consistent and control), I should be able to organize my mind and space. Deep…
Discipline
The segment on “Team Work” is so true. When we work as a team and in the area that we are strong in, will ultimately benefit the team. Once we learn that it’s not a “one man show” but a “team”, the team will prospers and the company as well.
I thought the way Mr. Parker defined Discipline was great…”A learned attribute that produces positive character, which displays commitment, consistency and control”. Being discipline in every aspect of your life, will produce positive results. I think I’ll bank this DVD as well.
Positive Relationships
My job requires me to interact with a lot of vendors and staff members. It’s very important to cultivate a positive relationship with people that you work with or interact with. If you build positive relationships with them and don’t burn any bridges, you can go further in life.
The segment on “ending a relationship” was great. I’m banking this segment… For me, it is not comfortable to end a business relationship with a vendor, but as the CEO of my life whether it’s personal or business, I’m hurting myself if I can’t end a relationship with honor and follow my heart as Mr. Parker stated.
Great DVD!!!

Oraganize my Mind and Space
Unorganized behavior has made me answer this blog so late in the day.
I am committed to change one city at a time.
I will be blogging a lot sooner.
MarquitaGceo4life
Committed to Change
If my purse or my office files reflects who I am, then I must immediately commit to change, and specifically change my unorganized thinking and behavior. The SAFE-T projects will be of great assistance (the purse is organized, next the resume file draw and reference documents) in this area to create a “new me”, a new mind-set and behavior – it’s exciting – we can do this.
Get Ready to Organize Your Money!
You will find another system (our theme word) to help organize your life--the In & Out Cash Management System.
I'll blog more this week, but get ready to dig even deeper...
Be sure and read the "What Do You Think" questions before you watch the DVD and answer them honestly.
FYI, before you complete the case study questions - question #13 should not include the "Gas $200" so please scratch that out. I'll review the answers in another post.
Organize Your Space - Introduction
If a guest walked through your home and opened every closet, cabinet, and drawer what would they see?
EVERY ENVIRONMENT YOU ARE IN REFLECTS YOU! Your home, your car, your office, your purse/briefcase, your closet, your garage, your drawers, your cabinets, your trunk, your desk, and yes...even your refrigerator.
Okay now that I've got your attention let's talk about organizing your space. SAFET is a unique system (our theme word) created by Mr. Michael Parker you can use to organize any space. This system is so simple anyone can do it! Here's some tips to help you organize all your spaces:
Tip #1 - Establish a daily routine of organizing something for 15 minutes each day. Challenge yourself to do 15 minutes a day for 7 days straight. Set your microwave timer!
Tip #2 - Write a checklist of all the areas you want to organize (make sure each goal is small enough to finish within 1-2 sessions). As you complete each goal you'll feel great and see your progress!
Tip #3 - WHEN IN DOUBT, THROW IT OUT! This doesn't mean you have to literally throw everything away, but don't hesitate to donate items that you are not using. Don't have time to take your items or have too much to haul? Here's a few vendors that can help:
- United Cancer Research Society at (800) 443-4224 FREE home pickup service
- 1-800 GOT JUNK
- Need Residential Paper Shredding? www.expressdestruction.com
Need help or have a SAFE-T question?FYI, I would love to see before and after pictures, if you're brave enough :-) Feel free to post them throughout this Organize Your Life series!
Email me anytime at esmith@stellarenterprise.com
Organize Your Mind - Introduction
I have adult ADHD so if I can have an organized mindset anyone can. I am living proof to myself that being organized is a BEHAVIOR that you can develop. I use checklists, email reminders, phone calls, post its, project timelines, whatever it takes for me to achieve my goals a little at a time. Just as a blind man that has excellent hearing, I believe my organizational skills have developed so much because unlike others that have the natural ability to focus, without checklists, email reminders, project timelines, phone calls, etc. I would be LOST.
I said all that to say this: Before you can organize your space, you MUST master the ability to organize your mind so much that you are focused, committed, and realistic. Then, the world is yours....one city at a time.
It's Time to Organize Your Life!!!
This is Elealeh Smith and I'll be coaching you through the Organize Your Life DVD series in your platinum business suite. By now you should have all completed the mind & space dvd as well as a small SAFET project in your home or office. So how did you do? I'll be reading your posts and commenting thoughout the next few weeks.
I'm going to step back a little bit and give an introduction to Organize Your Life. The next 3 sessions our theme word is 'SYSTEM'. To have an organized life you must have systems and tools that assist you with achieving your goals. The lifeskills audio book is designed to prepare your mind and heart for this next module. It takes PERSONAL AWARENESS to look into your background and see how your upbringing or past environments may have contributed to your disorganization. It takes POSITIVE THINKING and DISCIPLINE to get through a SAFET project - you have to commit while being consistent and focused. It also takes POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS to maintain an organized space if you do not live alone.
Once you have these crucial ingredients it's time to dig deep and address the key areas that make us unorganized. The Mind & Space DVD that you watched last week deals with how you think which impacts how your spaces look. It's going to feel a bit uncomfortable to address these issues (especially when it comes to hiding clutter) but for those of you who commit to change, you'll never be the same.

Signing on with ceo4life
You know these are some important tools as well as life tips that can used throughout your everyday life. I am really enjoying this environment. Thanks

I have completed my first SAFE-t project. The funny thing is what I always had been putting off for several years because I thought would "take too long" and "this is too much to handle" (negative, disorganized thinking (red flag that thought)) only took 1 hour. And the best thing is, I feel great about it! The SAFE-t method is very simple and straight forward and really cuts to the chase in getting an area organized. I am getting my next projects lined up and plan to have my living and work areas SAFE-t over the next several months. It really only takes a little effort in high frequency to get the job done. Getting organized is very simple and easy when you don't look at the huge project, but keep it to little bits day by day. It's a mind frame!

I Am Moving Forward
This is the most exciting journey I have ever taken. I am learning and actually changing. I am learning to organize my time based on what "I" value. For years I made decisions that were based on other peoples values and also on habits I had formed.
This weekend I stayed home and rested but also cleaned and worked on Organizing the Spaces in my Bedroom. I guess Geneva and I were on the same page because I heard in my head 80% of what we have we never use and I moved stuff out of the space that I really did not use and you know I did not miss it at all. The room feels so much better with out the clutter.
Well it's just about 10:30 and that's my "scheduled" bed time so enjoy all you CEO's and stay on the path... and you will move forward.

Organize Your Mind & Space
As I proceed, I will remind myself that 80% of what I keep I never use. I will not allow myself to make excuses for not keeping my promise to organize, instead - I will plan workable goals which will cause me to successfully organize my life. I AM COMMITTED TO CHANGE!!!!!!!
Again, thanks for working with me to realize the CEO4Life goal together - I am still striving!

CHARACTER!
Now that we have all listened to the complete Executive Audio Book on Life Skills, we all have the mind of a CEO. Now what? As we move into the next portion of the Platinum Business Suite (Organize Your Life) we will all begin to see exactly where we are living. However, do not retreat! Rather, remember all of the essential life skills we have learned up to this point. We must be personally aware of ourselves, and our environment. We must never forget to think positive and to understand that we have the power to choose. We must surround ourselves with positive relationships and experience the fruit of those relationships. And we all must demonstrate the commitment, consistency, and control to become the CEO of our own lives, as well as our businesses.
Remember the acronym we use for the character one displays while practicing disciplined behavior: S.P.I.R.I.T. Self-Discipline, Perseverance, Initiative, Respect, Integrity, and Team Work. With these character attributes, anything is possible!
I look forward to everyone getting organized with their mind, space, money, and time so we can all experience our maximum success on our way to living a high quality of life.
Disciple
There are areas in my life that I am very disciplined (perhaps even excessive) the unfortunate reality is that there are too man y areas in my life that my behavior is not disciplined. I like what the CD addresses, and I think William mentioned also, "this is a behavior that can be changed, I might not be able to change how tall or short I am, but behavior (once you become personally aware of it) now that can be changed, along with negative thoughts and patterns of behavior.
Knowledge is powerful. I am becoming the CEO of my life, yeah!
Back of Track ...Positive Relationships
Reading your post on the various CD series subjects has all been a delight. Seeing how others have received and utilized all the valuable information, tools and created action plans has been a help to me, thanks.
I over-booked my commitments last week and was not able to post my blog on the positive relationship topic (this is an area I am becoming “personally aware” of - what a revelation). As with all the CD's, there is so much value, and it helps keep things real and on a personal note, which is good for me because I have to focus on me, my behaviors, my actions, my results (or lack thereof).
I can truthfully say that most of my relationships TODAY, are very positive, this has not always been the case. However, I am seeing further areas of improvement even with these relationships, which is also a positive means for me to work on me. Make sure I am contributing, positive energy to each situation.
Also, over the years my personality type has changed, in some cases the change was the result of the work environment I was a part of, more of a survival tactic. But I can see based on a number of personality assessments that either through the process of growing older, adapting to the environment, education/training, personal awareness, etc., all these inputs have help shape my personality type. Understanding how one fits and works with other is so very valuable and necessary to generate positive results and outcomes, it is also helpful in understanding others, how they think and why, but more importantly that they also bring value to the group.
As others have mentioned, our CEO forum is definitely a positive relationship, I see much fruit in only a few weeks.

Discipline
Thank you
PamHceo4life
Discipline
I enjoyed the definition of receiving discipline. Everything points back to you and your behavior. I always thought of discipline as punishment. However, when you put receiving discipline into a different perspective as an "act of receiving consequences from and outside force for going against a just or unjust standard, law, and or/rule. " It opens up a whole new aspect in life.
I am very thankful to have listened to CD and completed the workbook on DISCIPLINE.

Dicipline . . . . Behavior?
I think it is also fitting to mention that a relationship with people who exorcise good disciplined behavior will help me learn this behavior as well. After some Personal Awareness reflection I have learned that part of the negative thought patters and undisciplined behavior that is evident in my work and personal life is partly a result of certain relationships I had growing up. I learned these behaviors from those relationships. I think it is important and can see the great benefit in finding good positive relationships with people who demonstrate the types of positive and disciplined behaviors that I am lacking. I have also been looking at positive thinking and it seems like each day that goes by I am becoming more and more aware of my negative and positive thought patters which is really the beginning of being able to change those things. This is really about being the CEO of MY THOUGHTS! If I can learn to controll what goes through my mind, it will give me the ability to control how I act and react.

The Power of Positive Relationships
I now understand more than ever that it is very crucial to cultivate, maintain and nurture relationships with the people we do business with or the people we met -- not to burn bridges. By "burning bridges" I mean, destroy relationships with your customers, clients, employees, vendors, etc. The key to good relationships is to accentuate the positives.
Knowing and understanding my behavioral types and personality styles as well as others, will help me create rapport and connection with people. I can improve my communication skills and reduce conflict. Imagine being able to understand better what motivates people and being able to recognize how to effectively deal with others.

Self Discipline
The more I become self aware and learn what causes my negative behavior, the more I am determined to make decisions that will impact my life positively. This drives me to discipline myself in my SPIRIT. I truly appreciate this Teamwork with everyone working with open minds to both learn and teach, listen and speak, lead and follow. I believe we will reach our goal together! I'm still striving...

The Necessary Life Skills of a CEO
Personal Awareness: discovering you. Who you are, Why you think the way you do, What are your values? Are you living your life or are you just behaving like you were taught as a child?
This was a real exploration for me. My values were centered around 22 but I was still practicing behavior learned as a child. Many of these no longer serve me or my new beliefs. My mind and my body were not aligned.
If I have a particular value: Being a Good Worker, Being Healthy, Being Spiritual, Being a Good Friend or Family Member then I must do actions that practice these beliefs rather than actions that don't move me towards any of these goals.
I made a mental list of what I do each day and how much time I spend doing each thing. Then consider the values I have, I asked myself am I contributing to my goals and values?
So how do you spend your time?
I say make it count. Spend time doing what you value, what you enjoy and what you should be doing to achieve your personal goals. Don't let things derail you, remain focused and you will succeed.
Discipline
Also, the definition of integrity was very key; "Striving toward every goal always being conscientious of what is right or wrong while maintaining your dignity and self respect". Integrity comes from within and cannot be faked, otherwise your customers/clients can tell the difference.
Discipline is the act of controlling the human will and overcoming any obtacles seeking to derail you from reaching your goals. Personally, when I discipline myself to write down my goals they are given a certain strength and help me to stay focused. Again, this forum is very interesting & enlightening, the comments from the other bloggers have been uplifting.

positive relationship
I believe I am going to try to build more positive relationships.
I really need to work on the concepts of initiating, building and maintaining relationships.

Positive Relationships
As I've mentioned before, this forum is particulary important for Sole Proprietors/Business Owners who work in small offices. You are constantly reminded of these powerful tools and enjoy this experience of a team environment with other professionals.
Positive Thinking
Also, Mr. Parker acknowleged that the way you feel dictates the way you act. If you think success you will be successful inspite of your challenges in pursuit of your short and long term goals. "Stay the Course".
Personal Awarness
Personal Awarness has been one of the most enlightening of all modules. As an enterprenuer, I appreciated how Mr. Parker and Mr. Fulton emphasized the importance of developing and maintaining the mental strength to overcome obtstacles in order to become victorious. Although most of us have been exposed to much of this information previous, but we all need to be "stirred up".
Also, having this forum to express how we feel concerning business as well as personal situations is truly invaluable, given all the professionals that apart of this network who are willing to share current and previous experiences.
